water for elephants. the book. not movie. if you haven't read this book, please go read it. i read it in two days. because it's wonderful!
i'd forgotten how much i love reading for fun.
or the way i feel giddy when i walk out of a book store clutching a bag of new stories yet to be read.
i've missed not being able to put a book down, because i can't wait until later to know what happens next.
i love books. and i love more than the fact that they are filled with stories of adventure, love, trials, and everything else... i love the smell of a new book, and old ones. i love the texture of the pages, as they are turned one by one.
i love when i become so attached to a book, it travels safely under my arm at all times when i'm not able to read.
all i'm getting at here is, well... a.p. english needs to end. i miss so terribly having time to read what i want. i miss going to the library and checking out four books and reading them in a week, and then returning to the library for more. i'm sick of having to have one done for it's deadline, and being quized, and having to write papers about them. these things honestly make a vortex that suck the fun out of reading. it should be illegal.
i just want to read.
30 more school days until graduation. i'm on the home stretch. let the count down begin.
